라임타운(이하 "회사")은 이용자와 아동의 개인정보를 소중히 여기며, 「개인정보 보호법」 등 대한민국 관련 법령, Google Play 가족 정책, Apple App Store 아동 정책, 그리고 미국 아동 온라인 개인정보 보호법(COPPA)을 준수합니다. 본 방침은 회사가 제공하는 학습 앱 "라임타운"(이하 "서비스")에 적용됩니다.

회사는 서비스 제공에 필요한 최소한의 정보만 수집하며, 필수 범위를 넘는 정보 제공을 서비스 이용 조건으로 요구하지 않습니다.
수집한 정보는 위 목적에만 내부적으로 이용하며, 광고·마케팅·프로파일링 목적으로 이용하거나 제3자에게 판매·제공하지 않습니다.
회사는 서비스 제공을 위해 아래와 같이 개인정보 처리를 위탁합니다. 수탁자는 회사의 지시에 따라 서비스 제공 목적으로만 정보를 처리하며 자신의 목적을 위해 이용할 수 없습니다. 회사는 이용자의 개인정보를 광고 목적으로 판매·제공하지 않으며, 앱 내 광고를 게재하지 않습니다.

이용자 및 법정대리인은 개인정보의 열람·정정·삭제·처리정지 및 동의 철회를 요청할 수 있습니다. 특히 부모는 언제든지 자녀의 개인정보를 열람하거나 삭제할 수 있고, 추가 수집·이용에 대한 동의를 철회할 수 있습니다. 동의를 철회하면 회사는 해당 아동의 정보 수집을 중단하고 보유 정보를 삭제합니다. 요청은 아래 고객지원 이메일로 접수하며, 회사는 지체 없이 조치합니다.
본 개인정보처리방침의 내용 추가·삭제·수정이 있을 경우 시행 전에 서비스 또는 웹사이트를 통해 공지합니다.
Limetown ("we," "us," or the "Company") respects the privacy of users and children. We comply with the Republic of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws, the Google Play Families Policy, the Apple App Store Kids policies, and the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). This policy applies to our learning app "Limetown" (the "Service").

We collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide the Service, and we do not condition a child's participation on providing more information than is reasonably necessary.
We use the information internally for these purposes only. We do not use it for advertising, marketing, or profiling, and we do not sell or disclose it to third parties for their own purposes.
We use the following service providers to operate the Service. They process information only under our instructions and solely to provide the Service, and may not use it for their own purposes. We do not sell or provide personal information for advertising, and we do not display ads in the app.

This section provides notice to parents and guardians in the United States, as required by COPPA, regarding children under the age of 13.
From a child we collect only: first name/nickname, grade level, learning-activity records, a device identifier, and an anonymous authentication identifier. We do not ask a child for a home address, phone number, email address, photos, video, audio, or precise location, and we do not enable a child to make their information publicly available.
We use children's information only to provide the learning Service to the family (saving progress, syncing devices, and enabling parental management). We do not use it for behavioral advertising, we do not allow third-party advertising networks in the app, and we do not sell children's information or disclose it to third parties for their own purposes. The service providers listed in Section 4 process the information solely to operate the Service on our behalf under contract.
The Service is set up and controlled by a parent. A parent creates or signs in to the account using their own Google or Apple account and adds the child's profile, and a paid subscription is completed by the parent using a credit or debit card. We provide notice to the parent before collecting a child's information. Through these steps we obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from a child, and children's information is used only for the internal operation of the Service.
At any time, a parent or guardian may (a) review the personal information we have collected from their child, (b) delete their child's personal information, and (c) refuse to permit further collection or use of their child's information (revoke consent). To exercise these rights, email us at cs@limetown.kr. If you revoke consent, we will stop collecting the child's information and delete the information we hold, as described in Section 3. Deleting the account or child profile in the app also erases the child's information.
We retain a child's personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Service, and we delete it within 30 days of a deletion or revocation request. We do not retain it indefinitely. We maintain reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect.
Users and legal guardians may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of the processing of personal information, and may withdraw consent. Please contact us at cs@limetown.kr, and we will act without undue delay.
If we add to, delete from, or modify this Privacy Policy, we will provide notice through the Service or our website before the changes take effect.
